Pricing, Cancellation and Refund Policy

  • Normal Season: Dates other than specified for mid and high season. Payment will be processed 7 days prior to arrival date. If a booking is cancelled 7 days or more prior to the arrival date, a refund will be made less an administration fee of $50. If a booking is cancelled less than 7 days prior to the arrival date, no refund is payable.
  • Mid Season: Mid Season dates are Easter, and School Holidays each year. Payment will be processed 14 days prior to arrival date. If a booking is cancelled 14 days or more prior to the arrival date, a refund will be made less an administration fee of $50. If a booking is cancelled less than 14 days prior to the arrival date, no refund is payable.
  • High Season: High season dates are 20 December to 17 January as well as any major event. All high season bookings require a deposit of $500 at the time of booking with a further 30% deposit required 60 days prior to check in. The balance is payable 14 days prior to arrival date. If a booking is cancelled 60 days or more prior to the arrival date, a refund will be made less an administration fee of $50. If a booking is cancelled between 14 days and 60 days prior to the arrival date, a refund will be made less an amount equivalent to 30% of the total booking price. If a booking is cancelled less than 14 days prior to the arrival date, no refund is payable.
  • Once a stay has commenced or in the case of a No Show, no refunds are available.
  • A service fee of $50 applies in a case of After hours Lock-out to allow guests back into their apartment if you require assistance entering the building or apartments – remember to take keys when departing the building.
  • A room inventory has been prepared prior to your arrival. Any breakages or missing items must advised upon departure. They may be charged accordingly. Please ensure any cutlery or crockery used in other apartments or BBQ area is returned to your apartment before you leave.
  • The apartment is to be left in a clean and tidy condition at time of departure. Dishes to be done & garbage is to be removed. Waste disposal bins for refuse are located on each level, if in doubt ask at reception. Excess rubbish removal or cleaning may result in additional charges.
  • Should the fire brigade be called out as a result of action by the guest an automatic change of $1300 will be charged to the guest credit card or any such additional fee as required to be paid by the fire brigade.
  • Please only park in your allocated parking area. Cars parked in incorrect parking places may be towed away at guest expense at a cost of $300.
  • Credit or debit cards may be charged a nominal fee to compensate for booking revenue differential (see reception for rate on check-in).
  • All arrivals outside of our normal office hours must supply a credit card security bond prior to arriving at the hotel. We do not accept cash bonds for after-hours arrivals.
  • Check out time is 10:00am. Please return keys to reception. A late checkout option may be available –please contact reception.
  • Travel Insurance is strongly recommended.

Issues regarding your Comfort and Safety

  • The pools, spa and the BBQ area are open between 8:00am and 9:00pm daily. Please observe the rules of use of the pool and spa. We recommend all care be taken in the water and that small children are adult supervised at all times.
  • Moorings on Cavill take no responsibility for any loss of your personal belongings which includes loss of money, jewels and all other personal items of value, motor vehicles are totally the responsibility of the occupant.
  • All apartments are non-smoking. Ashtrays are provided for use on the balcony only. A fee for the cost of deodorizing will be charged for noncompliance at a cost of $150 as an atomizer machine must stay overnight in apartment and we are unable to rent the apartment.
  • ALL noise in units to cease at 10pm sharp. – NO alcohol to be consumed in foyers, stairwells or reception areas. – NO glass to be taken into the  pool, spa or sauna area. – NO towels, clothes etc to be hung over balconies.  NO climbing from balcony to balcony for safety reasons (Instant eviction will occur).
  • Check out time is 10:00am. Please return keys to reception. A late checkout option may be available –please contact reception.
  • Moorings on Cavill Apartments has a mix of residential and holiday apartments. As per Queensland Law all occupants must abide by the buildings Body Corporate By-Laws and the directions of the building manager. A copy of these by-laws is available on request.

No Party & No Excessive Noise Policy

We are a Family Friendly apartments located in Surfers Paradise.
We bring to your attention our apartment policy regarding
“NO PARTY OR EXCESSIVE NOISE

The Moorings on Cavill is occupied by permanent residents, families and guest on vacation. Our resolve, as an accommodation provider is the comfort and enjoyment of all our guests using these facilities.

To help maintain order, we have policies in place which all guests must adhere to.

  • Please ensure all visitors leave by 10pm each night.
  • Only the registered overnight guests (limits apply) are permitted to be in the apartments after this time.
  • Additional guests will be charged a fee of $35 per night.

Please note that although this is not a pleasant option and one we never take lightly, we will however evict a guest or visitor without warning, should conditions warrant.
Physical or verbal abuse towards staff, residents or other guests will not be accepted and result in eviction and a life-time ban from our premises in addition to advising police.

Our “NO PARTY OR EXCESSIVE NOISE” policy, which all guests have agreed to upon booking will be strictly enforced.

If any person(s) are found to be creating excessive noise resulting in a complaint, then the subsequent call-out from the manager will result in a $150 fee and a verbal warning. In extreme circumstances, no warning will be given.

Should the offence not be rectified and another complaint be made, then eviction of all guests in the apartment will immediately occur.

We ask you to contact reception should you experience other guests causing you discomfort.

All apartments are non-smoking. Smoking on the balcony with the doors closed is permitted.
Pets are not permitted at any time.
